AI Promise

How QuickSummer uses AI, what it will never do, and how to opt out.

The film industry is rightly cautious about AI. The 2023 strikes drew a line, and most working filmmakers, writers, and performers we talk to are unwilling to use platforms that compromise on it. This page is our position. If we ever break any of these promises, we expect — and want — you to call us out.

1. What AI does on this platform

We use AI for convenience and recommendation only. Every AI surface is labelled with a small [AI] chip so you can see at a glance whether a feature is AI-touched. Specifically:

2. What AI will never do here

3. How to opt out

4. Sub-processors we use for AI

Text sent to Gemini is processed under Google's API terms, which prohibit Google from using your input to train Google's models when accessed via the paid Gemini API. We do not use any other AI sub-processor.

5. If we add a new AI feature

We will (a) update this page first, (b) ship the feature with the [AI] chip from day one, and (c) email all account holders if the change introduces a new sub-processor. We will not silently roll out new AI surfaces.

6. Contact

If you spot an AI surface that isn't labelled, or you believe a promise on this page has been broken: privacy@quicksummer.com. We will fix or explain within 7 days.
