The surrounding region of Estonia with strong cultural connection has their own way of looking at the industry, it is mostly based on government subsidies. They have little to do with US market oriented filmmaking with the exception of some Animation Production firms Happy Life Productions, who have established them well in the US picture industry. Generally, due to socialistic tax policies, it is not beneficial for film industry to shoot motion pictures in Scandinavia or any European country with the exception of United Kingdom. Scandinavian audiences are large enough to recoup well with their pictures in their local box offices.
